Cody Plumstead has been chasing music for as long as he can remember—starting at just 8 years old, and picking up a guitar at 13, a moment that set everything in motion.

Raised in a musically driven family and surrounded by country influence, his sound was shaped early on by the stories and traditions that define the genre. But his journey hasn’t been a straight line. There was a season where he lost his connection to music entirely—until a life-saving surgery gave him a second chance, not just at life, but at rediscovering his purpose.

 

That turning point reshaped everything. With a new perspective and a deeper appreciation for the craft, Cody came back to music grounded, intentional, and more honest than ever.

 

Now working closely with his producer, Cody stays deeply involved in every step of the process—writing, shaping ideas, and making sure each song carries something real. His music isn’t just something he creates… it’s something he’s lived.
