About Moon Light Sound
Moon Light Sound is an independent music label built to shine a light on artists, songs, and stories that deserve to be heard.
Based in London, Ontario, we’re creating a home for emerging country and roots artists who are passionate about their craft and want to build something real.
From songwriting and recording to live shows and artist development, Moon Light Sound is about more than releasing music—we’re about creating opportunities, building community, and giving artists a place to grow.
We believe great music connects people, and sometimes all it takes is one song, one stage, or one opportunity to change everything.
Real artists. Real stories. Real music. Under the Moon Light.

Kristen Renée
Born and raised in London, Ontario, Kristen Renée has been telling stories through music since she first picked up her aunt’s 12-string guitar at 14.
From singing session vocals as a teenager to landing her music on SiriusXM, Kristen has built her sound around honest lyrics, country-pop melodies, and a voice that makes you feel something.
Now part of the Moon Light Sound family, Kristen brings heart, energy, and a whole lot of story to every song and every stage.
Real stories. Real music. Kristen Renée.

Cody Plumstead
Cody Plumstead brings a little grit, a little heart, and a whole lot of country to every song he writes and every stage he steps onto.
With a sound rooted in real-life stories, small-town moments, and the kind of songs that feel right with the windows down and the volume up, Cody is carving out his own place in the Canadian country scene.
Now part of the Moon Light Sound family, Cody is here to tell his stories, connect with a crowd, and make music that sticks with you long after the last note.
Country with a little edge. Stories with a lot of heart.
